Growing up on lake Sinclair, the lake has always given me a place to stay active. The enjoyment I received just from being near the water, I always knew in the future I would end up settled down somewhere close by. My name is Mike Whitfield and being a curious person, I have always needed to know how and why mechanical things (boats,cars,ATV's.....) work the way they do, leading me to where I am today.
Myself and my associate graduated from two different mechanical and engineering technology schools including Marine Mechanics Institute (MMI), Mercury Marine, Outboard Marine (Johnson and Evrinude). In addition to schooling we have completed several different classes, seminars, specific brand training, make and model training and certification programs. Schooling and 38 years of hands on experience has given superior mechanical abilities, know how, and excellent customer skills.

The Boat Guys have been quietly in the field for a combined 38 years gaining a vast knowledge and understanding of marine equipment and now is our time to shine. With confidence blazing, an excellent understanding of a broad range of marine equipment and the capabilities to provide an excellent customer/business relationship we are finally available to all.
